Notes from the April 2010 Meeting
The following upcoming events were discussed
The March of Dimes Walk-a-Thon on the 10th of April.
DX Convention in Visalia on 16-18 April. The 16th is registration
VE testing and Fox Hunt in Visalia on the 24th of April.

General Club Notes
Chuck (WA6SAA) has the 146.970 Visalia repeater completed and will be installing the machine soon.
A temporary antenna for the 441.975 repeater on Blue Ridge will be temporarily installed on the roof of
the building until a bracket can be made to relocate the main antenna to its permanent location. The temporary
antenna will be installed soon. The permanent antenna will be relocated at the beginning of summer.
Chuck (WA6SAA) will be updating the coordination for the 441.975 repeater. It was originally coordinated for a different location.
A local field day event was discussed for the end of Jun or the middle of July.
This would involve both clubs over a 3 day weekend in mountains above Porterville. Exact dates and
location will be announced in the near future. This activity depends on those willing to participate.
