Local Repeaters

PARA operates several repeater systems in the Tulare County/San Joaquin Valley area. Any of these systems are open and available for use by all Amateurs. The only restriction: DO NOT ABUSE THE PRIVILEGE THAT GOES WITH THE USE OF THESE MACHINES.

PARA Repeaters

The KE6DWX/R (145.310- 100) is located on Blue Ridge at an elevation of 5700 feet. From this favorable location, this system covers a wide area reaching from the foot of the Grapevine in the South to the Merced area along Highway 99 to the North as well as to the Santa Nella area (I-5 & Hwy 152) in the North-West part of the San Joaquin Valley.

The KE6DWX/R (146.655- 100) is a low-level system located atop Republican Hill North of Porterville at an elevation of 1100 feet. Good coverage is obtained from this system in Porterville, some of the flat areas to the West and some of the mountain areas to the East.

The KE6WDX/R (146.970- 100) is a low-level system located on top of the Presidian Hotel serving the Visalia, area.

PARA Affiliated Repeaters

The KE6YF/R (443.050+ 100) is located on Blue Ridge, approximately 26 miles due east of Visalia.
